A request for a Certificate of Compliance must be accompanied with a Real Property Report (RPR). If the RPR is older than six months prior to the date of applying for a Certificate of Compliance, a Statutory Declaration is required indicating that no changes, alterations, or additions to the principal building have been made since the RPR was prepared.
A Certificate of Compliance is a document signed by the Town of Penhold certifying that a development (e.g., house, garage, shed, fence, etc.) complies with the Land Use Bylaw.
Certificates of Compliance are generally required for the sale of your property.
