The Town of Penhold is excited to announce a new Shop Local Initiative for 2022. During the holiday season, anytime you shop at any three (3) local businesses in one (1) week you can submit your receipts and be entered to win a weekly prize. It is as simple as filling up your tank, grabbing a bite to eat and buying some groceries in Penhold and you can enter to win.
Each time you shop at any three (3) Penhold businesses in one of the weeks specified below you can enter to win. Click here for the directory of licensed Penhold Businesses *Please note, there are businesses with valid 2022 Business Licenses who are not included on the directory. Each business is asked if they want to be included in the Directory when they fill in their business license application. All purchases made from any Penhold business with a valid business license are eligible for the Shop 3-in-1 to Win contest.
Each week one lucky local shopper will be awarded a $50 gift card from a Penhold retailer of their choice along with a gift from the Town of Penhold (total value $150)! Every week is a new chance to win.

Bonus Draw: All eligible entries received by December 18 will be entered for an additional draw on December 20 for a $100 Penhold Retailer Gift Card of your choice.
How to enter
Each time you shop at any three (3) Penhold businesses you can enter to win. All eligible entries will be entered for an additional draw on December 20 for a $100 Penhold Retailer Gift Card of your choice.
Option 1: Email your name and contact information along with one (1) photo of your three (3) receipts for the week to bstearns@townofpenhold.ca.
OR
Option 2: Place your three (3) receipts in an envelope marked “Shop 3-in-1 & Win” with your name and contact information included at the Town Office or in the after-hours drop box.
Please send one email OR drop off one envelope per entry. You may enter as many times as you shop at three Penhold businesses but each receipt may only be submitted once. Submit one (1) email with photo OR an envelope with your three receipts when you shop at three (3) Penhold businesses in any of the weeks specified below.
Week 1: November 25 – December 4 (includes a few bonus days)
Receipts due: December 5, Draw date: December 6
Week 2: December 5 – December 11
Receipts due: December 12, Draw date: December 13
Week 3: December 12 – December 18
Receipts due: December 19, Draw date: December20

Rules & Regulations
3-in-1 to Win! Contest Official Rules & Regulations:
- Receipts can be from any business in Penhold, licensed home businesses are valid as well, as long as there is a Penhold address on the receipt.
- Minimum purchase at each business is $10
- Each submission of three receipts will count as one entry
- You may enter more than once per week if you shop local more than three times in the week
- Receipts may only be used one time per entry, regardless of amount spent
- Receipts can be from the same business, for example: if you purchase coffee daily but must be a minimum of $10 in value, before tax, per receipt.
- Receipts can be from the same day, for example: if you purchased coffee, gas, groceries and had a haircut all in one day.
- The contest is open to residents and guests of Penhold, and must be age 18 or older (“Eligible Entrants”)
- Entry photo must include all three (3) receipts, be clear and include the business name, address and date on each receipt to be eligible.
- The photo of the receipts does not need to show all items purchased. ( i.e. You can fold the receipt to include store name and transaction info only)
- Winners will be contacted by phone call from the Town of Penhold. We will not contact winners through social media
