Are you prepared for an emergency?

Emergencies can happen at any time and without warning. BE READY! Being prepared will enable you and your family to evacuate OR shelter in place as required. Create a household emergency plan and build an emergency kit.

Hazards identified in the Town of Penhold Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment include but are not limited to:

  • Blizzards
  • Road or rail accidents
  • Wind storms
  • Snow storms
  • Tornados
  • Hail

Preparing for these emergencies will allow you to respond quickly to help yourself and others. Emergency crews will be responding to those in the most need, and it may take some time for them to reach you. 

The Town of Penhold is proud to be part of the Red Deer Regional Emergency Management Partnership (RDREMP). This partnership includes the County of Red Deer, City of Red Deer, Town of Sylvan Lake, Town of Innisfail, Town of Penhold, Town of Bowden, Village of Elnora, Village of Delburne. We are better able to respond with all of our municipalities working together to mitigate emergencies as they arise.
