This year’s parade theme, Timeless Toys, Endless Joy, celebrates the toys and games that have brought joy to all ages through the decades. From wooden blocks to video games, stuffed animals to action figures—join us in bringing these playful memories to life!
IMPORTANT INFO: With all the events and activities, Fall Festival a busy event, please leave your pets at home. There will not be any pets allowed in the Fall Festival events areas. (*Service dogs with valid Alberta credentials exempt).
For the safety of everyone attending the event, no wheeled devices will be permitted in the event areas with the exception of mobility aids. We encourage you to utilize self propelled transportation and have bike rakes and skate board holders onsite to store your bikes, scooters and skateboards securely while you enjoy the event on foot.

Mayor Mike's Mini Marathon for a Cause
Are you ready to make a difference and have a blast at the same time? Lace up your running shoes and prepare for an unforgettable experience at Mayor's Mike's Mini Marathon for a Cause! This event promises not only a fun filled 500m but also the chance to support local community initiatives.
This year Mayor Mike has selected a "Penholdfest" theme, so now is the time to start the hunt for lederhosen, there will be a prize awarded for the best Bavarian dressed participant. Proceeds from the 2025 year's Mini Marathon for a Cause will for to the Penhold Bark Park Committee.
Lace up your running shoes and prepare for an unforgettable experience at Mayor's Mike's Mini Marathon for a Cause on Friday at Fall Festival. This fun run will indeed be a “mini” marathon because it is 0.5km or 500m. Don't worry about not having enough to get through to the end, there's snacks & bevies at the half way mark!
The excitement doesn't end there! The first 100 people to register will receive awesome fun swag as a token of our appreciation. So, don't delay – secure your spot today! In addition to this, all 18+ participants will in the mini marathon will receive free admission to the Craft Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival, showcasing Alberta based vendors, included with their $25 registration fee.
Children are welcome to participate with their parent / guardian, all adults must register and children accompanying them may participate at no charge.
Prizes will be awarded for the fastest time & best costume.
Ma & Pa's Bakery Café Show & Shine
We invite everyone to join us at the Ma & Pa's Bakery Café Fall Festival Show & Shine Friday Sept. 5, 2025. The Show & Shine will begin at 6:00 p.m. and go until 8:00 p.m.
Come join us in the Multiplex Parking Lot to check out the vehicles and enter your vote for the Fan Favourite and Most Unique awards.

Craft Beer Wine & Spirits Festival

Fireworks will be held south of the Multiplex on Friday Sept. 5 at 9:00 p.m.
Parade
The Penhold Fall Festival Parade is a highlight of Fall Festival for residents and visitors alike. Spectators enjoy watching their friends and neighbours pass by on unique and creative parade floats and decorated vehicles. Click here to download parade route
The Town of Penhold invites all businesses, community groups and residents to join us for the parade. The 2025 Parade Theme is "Timeless Toys, Endless Joy" - honouring the toys & games that have brought happiness for generations.
On parade day, participants are asked to arrive between 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. to line up along Lincoln Street, judging will begin at 10:15 a.m. and the parade will begin at 11:00 a.m.
There will be prizes awarded for Best Commercial Entry, Best Community Group / Personal entry and Judges Choice.
Following the parade, the entire community is invited to join in the fun at the Multiplex with Fall Festival activities throughout the day until 5:00 P.M.

The Vendor Market will be held Saturday Sept. 6, 2025 and is organized by the Penhold & District Museum Society. This will be an outdoor vendor market located in the Multiplex Parking lot amongst all the other events and activities.
