Subdivision and Development Appeal Process
The Regional Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (RSDAB) consists of a number of members from a number of municipalities and PCPS to hear appeals made by any person who disagrees with a decision made by a municipality’s subdivision and development authorities. When an appeal is filed to the RSDAB, the person filing the appeal must complete a notice of appeal and submit the required fee of $275.00 to PCPS.
Subdividing land is the process of dividing one parcel of land into two or more parcels.
Each parcel of land is given separate titles which are registered by the Alberta Land Titles office. Only the landowner or an agent acting on behalf of the landowner may apply for subdivision.
