Mayor Mike's Mini Marathon for a Cause
We have a new activity for Fall Festival this year! Mayor Mike’s Mini Marathon for a Cause will be a new addition to the Friday evening activities at Fall Festival 2022. This fun run will indeed be a “mini” marathon because it is 0.5km or 500m.
“I am excited about the new Mayor’s Mini Marathon because it will be a really fun way to raise money within Penhold. The proceeds from this year’s marathon will be going to the Penhold Elementary School Parent Advisory Council for their new playground development,” says Yargeau. “The run is meant to be a fun time, it’s only 500m and there will be a Golden Mini Donut Hydration Station at the midway point and a retro costume contest for the participants.”
The mini marathon will end at the Craft Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival tent and all Mini Marathon participants will receive free admission to the event, showcasing over 20 Alberta based vendors, included with their $25 registration fee.
Click here to sign up for the Mayor’s Mini Marathon for a Cause. We have fun swag for the first 35 people to register, sign up today!
