Small actions contribute to strong communities!
Community Impact Campaign
The Community Impact Campaign celebrates the everyday actions that help strengthen our communities. From small acts of kindness to ongoing volunteer efforts, this initiative recognizes individuals who are making a positive difference.
What is the Campaign?
This is a Red Deer & District FCSS regional project delivered in partnership with Penhold, Bowden, Elnora, Delburne, and Red Deer County.
This initiative highlights individuals who contribute to their communities in meaningful ways. This may include volunteering, supporting neighbours, or taking part in activities that build connection and belonging.
Inspired by previous initiatives such as Small Acts Matter, the campaign encourages residents to find ways to get involved and contribute to a strong and connected community.
Why It Matters
Strong communities are built through connection, kindness, and participation. By recognizing these efforts, the Community Impact Campaign aims to celebrate local impact, encourage community involvement, and inspire others to get involved.
Get Involved
There are many ways to take part in the Community Impact Campaign. Residents are encouraged to nominate individuals, share stories, and participate in opportunities that support community connection.
Nominate Someone
Do you know someone who is making a positive impact in your community?
Help us recognize their contributions by submitting a nomination. All acts of community impact, big or small, are important and valued.
Penhold residents can submit nominations directly through this page. Residents of Bowden, Elnora, Delburne, and Red Deer County are encouraged to connect with their local FCSS office for information on how to submit a nomination in their community.
