Lincoln Street Rec. Centre is located at 144 Lincoln Street.


During the winter months the community can have free access to the outdoor rink.

February 25, 2021: While the warmer weather is a nice reminder spring is coming, it does mean the end of the season for outdoor rink.  The outdoor rink is now closed for the season.


COVID 19 NOTE: THE RINK SHELTER IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC DUE TO COVID-19. 

The Outdoor Rink and Rink Shelter are open seasonally when the weather permits. The ice at the Outdoor Rink usually opens in mid-December, depending on weather, will be maintained as weather permits. 

Outdoor Rink hours of operation

Mon-Fri 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (closed for maintenance 8:00-11:00 a.m.) 

Sat. & Sun. & holidays 9:00 a.m. - 9:00p.m.

Public Works would like to thank everyone for respecting the Rink Shelter. Please remember this facility is for everyone to enjoy and misuse or damage will not be tolerated.  


The facility includes a kitchen area which consists of a stove, microwave, fridge and washrooms.

The facility is available for rental year round. (Facility currently closed due to COVID-19)

Cost of Rental:
$30.00 per day - weekdays
$60.00 per day - weekends
$10/hour if rental less than 4 hours
$30.00 per rental - tables & chairs

The Town of Penhold Public Works department invites you to enjoy the Outdoor Rink and Crokicurl game at Lincoln Street Rec.  These two fun outdoor activity spaces are maintained as weather permits and may not be available in certain weather conditions. 

Please remember theses are community spaces for everyone to enjoy and make sure you do not cause any damage to the rink shelter or other Lincoln Street Rec facilities.

Crokicurl will not be available this year due to COVID19 restrictions.

Crokicurl ā€” a mashup of crokinole and curling  is available for all to enjoy at Lincoln Street Rec. Bring your family and friends and come try this uniquely Canadian winter game.
